BEST PC CONFIGURATION

1. USABILITY:
























It depends on the tasks that you are planning to do on your PC. If you are a Microsoft office,Word pad or internet user you should think of buying a PC with minimum requirements that is sufficient only for text editing and a little of multimedia. But if you are planning to use PC as your entertainment source or gaming than you must think of getting a highly configured PC with full graphics support. Than you must obviously think of getting a Nvidia graphics card in your PC. The usability factor truly depends on how you use your PC and how much performance you need from it.


2.PRICE:




This consideration is about how much you can spend to buy your PC.You must be in search of a PC with some enhanced features that impress you and your colleagues too.If you plan to buy a PC with a 4 GB RAM than you should be ready to give a extra price for your PC. 


3.PERIPHERALS:


 A peripheral is a device that is attached to your PC via USB,serial or parallel ports.

Some common input peripheral devices include
  • mouse
  • keyboard
  • scanner
  • gamepad
  • joystick
  • pendrive
  • microphone
  • digital camera 

some common output peripheral devices include
  • monitor or LCD
  • printer
  • plotter
  • speaker
  • projector
The usage of peripheral devices depends upon your needs.
if you need a paperless than you will never ever think of buying a printer and you will stick only to documents of word paced in hard disk itself. A projector will be required for meetings that are only required in offices.

Simply a peripheral device is a external device that take output or input from computer.


4.HARDWARE:


 Hardware is the basic requirement of a PC. Hardware are the physical components that can be touched and seen. Hardware configuration is different for different users. 


Different types of hardware are:

  • hard disk(secondary storage)
  • RAM(primary memory)
  • speakers
  • power supply
  • sound card 
  • graphics card 

Mother board
 


the basic mother board is having a Sata port, a RAID machine or a new generation is nothing without PCI express bus on it.
All of the peripherals directly or indirectly connect to the mother board of your PC. either its a RAM ,graphics card it will communicate with the processor with the help of your mother board and the buses. 

Devices that are directly connected to the mother board are:
  1. processor
  2. hard disk
  3. RAM
  4. PCI expansion bus
  5. SATA bus for disk drives
  6. power supply
 So, here you came to know that a mother board is the basis of a computer system so it called the mother board. wih a mother board of low quality you may not be able to take full advantage of your PC hardware components.
I will suggest all of you to buy mother board with a PCI expansion bus.


PROCESSOR


Processor is the part of PC that makes a real difference between the speed of the PC. A good quality processor can make the computer fast and help further in multitasking. 
sometimes it is much beneficial to get a new processor than the old one because it may cost more a few dollars but will give a performance of worth 100 more dollars.


HARD DISK


A hard disk is a device that stores data for further use by the user and remain persistent or intact beyond the lifetime of the computer or even there is no power supply.  
RAID support hard disk are best suited for today's computers because they a backup with the storage of data and there is no chance of losing data on the corruption of the hard disk.

A user have to decide mostly either between a 160 GB or 320 GB hard disk. 

RAM

To think about a RAM the major criteria is the format of the RAM i.e is it compatible with your mother board or not. In today's world you can take advantage by using a DDR 3 RAM instead of the slow speed SD and DDR 2 RAM. RAM also defines the primary memory of your PC. For a gamer a 1 GB is sometimes less but for a document builder its much more than enough.


PCI expansion bus

 
It is a high speed bus developed for connecting a hardware device  to the computer. A more speedy PCI bus is more beneficial for high speed data transfer. Through the PCI bus slot you can also connect Graphics card with your mother board and much more devices can be connected at a time like sound card.
