windows startup sound
Every time you logon you hear a start up sound that notifies you that you are now logged on into your windows. You may even sometimes get bored hearing the same sound again and again. You can change the startup sound if you want to. You just need a sound file that is in format called the wave(.wav) format and need to follow the steps described below for applying it to startup.
1.Open control panel.
2.Click on the sound button, a dialog box will appear.
3.Click on the sounds tab and than search for windows logon in the scroll list.
4.Click on Browse button and find the file that you want to use as logon sound.
5.Select the file (it must be in wav format) and click on APPLY and OK.
6.Than restart to check it out.
